The Portland St. Patrick Shamrocks hosted the Montabella Mustangs for a huge late season game on Friday, October 24th. Montabella came in highly ranked, and at 8-0 had beaten every opponent handily. The Raiders made the long trek to Whitehall on Friday night to finish their regular season schedule with a contest with the Vikings.  The Raiders picked up a convincing 35-0 win to finish their regular season with a perfect 9-0 record.   The Portland offense used a nice mix of passing and rushing to keep the Viking defense on their toes.  The Raider receivers tallied a total of 204 receiving yards with four touchdowns, while the ground game totaled 124 yards and one touchdown

At the 3rd CMAC cross country jamboree Thursday 10/16/25 at The old country mill orchard, the Portland St Patrick girls team was led by Marian Davlin in 26th place with a time of 23:06, Lilly Anthony finished in 56th place with a time of 28:39 a 1 second PR and a 1 minute season best time. Steven Richard Huhn, age 73, of Portland, passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1952, the son of Herman and Mathilda (Kowatch) Huhn. Steve was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 33 years of service to his local community. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, driving his corvette, and working in his yard. The Portland girl’s cross-country team closed out their league season at the CAAC White Jambor ee #3, h osted at the scenic Country Mill Orchard course.
