The City of Portland has announced a planned power outage on Saturday, November 1st at 11:00 PM, and expected to conclude by Sunday, November 2nd at 8:00 AM. The Portland St. Patrick Shamrocks travelled to Grand Rapids for a football showdown with the Wyoming Godfrey-Lee Legends. On Friday, the Portland High School varsity football team traveled to Eaton Rapids to face the Greyhounds for a CAAC White meeting in week seven of the 2025 high school football season.  The Raiders secured a 54-6 win, and improved to 7-0 overall, 6-0 in the CAAC White.   Five different Portland players scored touchdowns in the game.  Senior running back Kayden Dickerson 70 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, along with 17 yards receiving and one receiving touchdown.  Se
