John Snellenberger serves as coach of the Portland High School Varsity Boys Golf Team. Makayla Evensen, a 2026 PHS graduate, recently signed to play volleyball and run track at the University of Findlay next year. Evensen is receiving a full dual scholarship to participate in both sports at the NCAA Division II school in Findlay OH. Evensen qualified for the MHSAA Division 2 State rack meet recently.
