The team had great ball movement, excellent shot selection, and worked well to push the ball offensively. On Sunday, February 8th, the Portland bowling teams competed in the CAAC Singles Tournament at Royal Scot.   On the girls’ side, Savanah Sutton led the way, qualifying in 11th place. The Portland boys wrestling team had a standout week, highlighted by a thrilling 35–34 victory over Division 2’s No. 6 ranked Eaton Rapids. On Wednesday, the St. Patrick's Girls basketball teams traveled to Fowler and won an electric victory over the Eagles in double overtime, ending with the score of 51-46. Portland student Ava Guilford was named to the Albion College Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester.   Albion College's Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a 3.5 or higher GPA while taking four graded courses.   Guilford is majoring in marketing - integrated marketing communication emphasis. Guilford is the child of Patrick and Amy Guilford of Portland and is a graduate of Portland High School.

The Portland Knights of Columbus Council 2168 will be sponsoring a bus trip to Firekeepers Casino on Wednesday April 8th, 2026. The cost is $45.00 with each participant receiving $25 in casino play and a $5 food voucher.
