Three Raiders Reach 100 Career Varsity Wins as Team Claims Tournament Title
Three Raider wrestlers reached a major milestone last week, each earning their 100th career varsity victory. Juniors Landon Guilford, Landon Lanz, and Branlun Simon all hit the century mark in competition. On Saturday, January 24, the Portland Girls Bowling team traveled to Jax 60 to compete in the Mel Wolfe Girls Invitational, a tournament that featured one of the strongest fields of the season. Jace Cross of Portland has been named to Kettering University's Fall 2025 Dean's List. Cross is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The Dean's List recognizes overall academic performance based on the student's term grade point average (GPA). Lady Shamrocks top Dansville
The St. Patrick Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Dansville on Wednesday. The Shamrocks defeated the Aggies 55-26. The Shamrocks worked through a physical matchup and made adjustments to enhance their press and created offensive opportunities. Marian Davlin was impressive under the rim and brought in 11 rebounds for the Shamrocks. Lily Sandborn created 6 steals. Portland Boys Varsity Wrestling Takes Third at Jim Mooney Classic
Portland Boys Varsity Wrestling competed at the 63rd Annual Jim Mooney Classic on Saturday, January 17, and delivered an impressive performance. The Raiders finished third out of 27 teams and crowned two individual champions. Those champions have continued their dominance this season with perfect records.
