On Wednesday, March 11 th , the St. Patrick's Varsity Girls basketball team traveled to Fowler for the Regional Final matchup against Muskegon Catholic Central. The Shamrocks won, 53-40, over the Crusaders. The lady Shamrocks came out strong with a run by Macie Leonard and then continued to convert possessions offensively. The Portland Boys Bowling team competed in the MHSAA Team Tournament to cap off their season. The boys battled nerves, as it was the first State Finals appearance for every member of the team. Despite the pressure, they competed hard and finished in 14th place overall. The team was led by Tanner Brownell and Wyatt Spear, who each rolled a strong 371 two-game series.
