Portland Boys Soccer Earns Honors on the Field and in the Classroom
Portland High School boy’s Varsity soccer team wrapped up its season after falling in the district semifinals to Northpointe Christian. Their record of 3 wins, 8 losses, and 1 tie (2-5 mark in the CAAC White conference), does not accurately show the level of success this season. Despite the tough schedule, the team’s determination was evident, with six of their eight losses decided by just two goals or fewer. Shamrocks handle Deckerville in semifinals
Portland St. Patrick has been on a mission to win a State Championship all season, and on Saturday, November 15th, a familiar foe stood in their way. Deckerville had dashed the Shamrocks hopes in the semi-finals in 2012, and the Regional finals in 2023 with close losses for Portland St. Patrick. Raider football season ends in Regional Finals
The Portland Raiders hosted the Bulldogs of Vicksburg on Saturday afternoon for the Regional Championship game in MHSAA Division 4 football playoffs.
