It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend Judy Lynne Kramer on November 23, 2025.
Born June 16, 1958 in St. Johns, Michigan to Simmy and Revella Smith.
Jude will always be remembered for her radiant smile and joyful spirit. Her love for life was infectious, and being around her brought warmth and laughter to any room.
Jude and Fred were married June 9, 1984 and shared a total of 46 beautiful years together, building a life rooted in love, devotion, and family. They raised two sons, Zachary and Jacob, and their triplet daughters, Mariah, Morgan and Mallory, who were the center of Jude’s world. She poured her whole heart into motherhood—nurturing, protecting, and celebrating her children every step of the way. She later poured the same love into her 5 precious grandchildren, Fiona, Rowan, Ember, Brooks and Cooper.
Jude had a remarkable gift for caring for others and her daycare children most of all. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, and celebrating every occasion, especially Halloween. She was always the first to lend a hand to someone in need.
Her happiest place was the family’s special spot on Dickerson Lake, where countless memories were made with her children and grandchildren, often with a bottle of Miller Lite in hand.
In 2021, Jude was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a challenge no family expects to face. Yet even as her illness progressed, her love never wavered. When her speech faded, her smile remained—her gentle way of showing others they were seen, valued, and cherished. Even when words and smiles grew quiet, her love shone through her eyes and her touch.
On Sunday, God peacefully welcomed Jude into His arms, surrounded by Fred and her children. If you look toward the heavens, there is little doubt she is smiling brightly down on those she loved so deeply.
May her memory remind us to look up, to smile, and to carry forward Jude’s boundless love.
Jude was preceded in death by her parents, Simmy and Revella and parents-in-law, Jerry and Janette Kramer. Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Fred; children: Zach (Abby) Kramer, Jake (India) Kramer, Mariah (Andy) Petersmark, Morgan Kramer, and Mallory (Kyle) Huhn; grandchildren: Fiona, Rowan, Ember, Brooks and Cooper; siblings: Glenn (Marie) Smith, Sharon (Ken) Miller, Donna (Bruce) Devereaux, and Amy (John) Miller; in-laws: Doug (Lynne) Kramer, Sue (Stacey) Bosworth, Kathy (Sharon Breton) Kramer, Jean (Jon) Shattuck, Ken (Kim) Kramer, Karen (Tony) Trierweiler, and Mary (Ken) Cook; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
