Portland Boys fall to St. Johns

On Tuesday night, the PHS boys basketball team hosted the Red Wings of St. Johns.

Despite finishing the first quarter of play tied at 15, the Raiders would lose to St. Johns 63-54.

Freshman Dominic Novara led Portland offensively with 22 points. Senior Trent Meyers added 15 points, while freshman Chris Battley added 14 points.

The Raiders are now 1-4 overall, 1-1 in the CAAC White conference. They will host Lansing Sexton on Friday. The Big Reds currently sit 2-3 overall, 1-0 in the CAAC White conference.
