Lady Raiders Topple Ionia

The Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Ionia on Friday night for a CAAC White match-up.

The Lady Raiders defeated the Bulldogs 54-29.

Offensively for the Raiders, junior Ashley Bower scored 25 points, while junior Grace Clark scored six points.

Ionia was led by junior Brynn Reams who had 11 points.

Portland improves to 4-1 overall, and 4-0 in the CAAC White. Their next game is on Wednesday when they host Newaygo who is unbeaten after five games.

Ionia moves to 1-4 overall, 1-2 in the CAAC White.
