Shamrock Baseball advances to MHSAA Regional Finals

The Shamrocks traveled to Fulton on Thursday to face Dansville in the MHSAA regional semifinals. St. Patrick won the game 5-0.
Charlie Thelen had four hits and two RBIs for the Shamrock offense. Jerryd Scheurer added two hits.
Brady Leonard threw 10 strike outs while allowing just three hits and zero runs on the mound for St. Patrick in his seven-inning complete game win.
St. Patrick will face Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart at Central Michigan University on Saturday for the regional finals.
The Shamrocks were ranked number one in division four in the final Michigan High School Baseball Association poll of the year. Their overall record is 30-1 with their sole loss coming to Sacred Heart by a score of 10-5 back on May 17th.
