Raider football remains unbeaten with win over Eaton Rapids

On Friday, the Portland High School varsity football team traveled to Eaton Rapids to face the Greyhounds for a CAAC White meeting in week seven of the 2025 high school football season. The Raiders secured a 54-6 win, and improved to 7-0 overall, 6-0 in the CAAC White.
Five different Portland players scored touchdowns in the game. Senior running back Kayden Dickerson 70 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, along with 17 yards receiving and one receiving touchdown. Senior Brad Meyers, senior Trevor Smith, junior Carson Spenski, and junior Alex Atwell each had rushing touchdowns for Portland.
Senior running back Nolan Zbytowski tallied 50 rushing yards.
Senior quarterback Ethan Cassel went three for three passing for 31 yards and one touchdown.
Portland’s defense continued to dominate opponents, holding the Greyhounds to just one touchdown. This is the fourth consecutive game where they held their opponent to seven points or less.
Up next, the Raiders return home for their last regular season home game and a chance to finish CAAC White play with an undefeated league championship. They will host the Orioles of Charlotte.
Charlotte is currently 4-3 overall, and 4-2 in the CAAC White. Last week the fell to Olivet 14-7.
The Raiders will then travel to Whitehall for their regular season finale. Whitehall is currently 4-3 overall with their three losses coming to strong programs in Hudsonville Unity Christian (7-0), Muskegon Oakridge (5-2), and Ludington (7-0).
