Portland Tennis Places Third at Spring Sports Carnival

Portland Girls Tennis hosted some of the best teams in D4 tennis at the Spring Sports Carnival on Saturday - 2021 D4 State Champs Academy of the Sacred Heart, D4 powerhouse Ann Arbor Greenhills, and state qualifiers, Kalamazoo Hackett. Sacred Heart and Greenhills prevailed throughout the day, proving to be the tough competition we all anticipated. Greenhills finished first with 6 flight champions and 22 team points. Sacred Heart took second with 2 flight champions and 17 team points. Portland placed third with 7 team points, followed by Hackett with 2 team points. Though the competition was tough, Portland players put in great effort to hang in several of their matches and pull off a few wins.
