Makayla Evensen, a 2026 PHS graduate, recently signed to play volleyball and run track at the University of Findlay next year.

In her time at PHS, she competed in cross country for one year, soccer for two years, volleyball for three years, and track for four years.
She earned all academic honors her junior and senior year, honorable mention for track and all conference this year for track and field in two events. She received all area honors for volleyball her junior and senior year.
When asked about her choice of school, Evensen said, “I’ve been looked at by many schools ranging from NAIA to D1, but this school was one of the ones that allowed me to do both and also work in my major.”
