Portland girls bowling remains unbeaten with win over Ionia

On Thursday the Portland High School girls bowling team traveled to “The Bowling Alley” in Ionia to compete against the Ionia’s Girls bowling team.
Both teams came into the match undefeated.
Portland came on top with a 26-4 win.
Portland senior Kaelyn Bayless had an impressive 6-7-10 split conversion!
Top scores for Portland:
· Senior Kaelyn Bayless: 182
· Senior Jessie Whitford: 181
Top scores for Ionia:
· Zoey Guernsey: 164 & 148
Portland remains undefeated and is now 6-0 in the CAAC conference.
The team’s next match is at home on Friday, January 28th against Ionia at the Wagon Wheel.
