Portland Baseball takes two games from Ionia

The Raiders hosted Ionia on Tuesday night.
Game 1: Portland 1, Ionia 0
Max Sandborn got a complete game shut out pitching for Portland in game one. He struck out four Bulldog batters.
Brody Moore led the Portland offense with two hits including a double.
Game 2: Portland 9, Ionia 1
Gunnar Williams led the Portland offense with two hits, including a grand slam in the sixth inning. Sandborn and Deacon Townsend each added two hits.
Conner Fox got the win on the mound for Portland pitching six and a third inning, striking out three. Mason Vallier closed the game out striking out one.
The Raiders are now 6-6 on the season. They travel to St. Johns on Thursday.
