PHS using digital tickets for home athletic events – No Cash Accepted

Portland High School will not be accepting cash for home athletic events this school year. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFan.co (please note it is not “.com”).
The athletic department staff will have a QR code at the ticket windows for quick purchases and will also have a reader available for those needing assistance.
Senior Citizens and children 6 and under are free and they DO NOT go on that website and get tickets.
A primary concern in the switch away from cash relates to safety. During home varsity events, especially Friday night football games, staff working the entry gates were required to handle a large amount of cash.
