PHS Boys Cross Country recap from CAAC White Jamboree #3

The Boys team had an impressive showing at the CAAC White Jamboree #3 at Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall. Owen Moore put on a thrilling performance, narrowly defeating Lansing Catholic’s Lucas Gates by 2 seconds with a personal record of 16:40, a 16-second improvement. Andrew Feldpausch followed closely, finishing strong at 17:04 continuing his great season story.

The standout freshmen continued to shine, with Liam DeWitt achieving a PR of 17:37 for 6th place and Donnie Richmond finishing at 18:10. Tanner McNair contributed to the team's scoring with a determined 20:58, while freshman Noah Huffine showed growth, crossing the line at 23:29.

The results from the final conference standings reflect the team's hard work, with the Portland Boys finishing 2nd overall and boasting 4 All-Conference runners: Owen Moore (2nd), Andrew Feldpausch (3rd), Liam DeWitt (8th), and Donnie Richmond (14th). It was a record-breaking day for the team!
