PFCU Credit Union is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 spring grant application cycle, providing funding opportunities aimed at fostering growth and innovation in education, agriculture, arts, and wellness. Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2026 through April 30, 2026.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit applications for projects, initiatives or scholarships that align with the PFCU Foundation’s mission.

The Foundation strives to enrich the lives of our community members through the following pillars of giving:

FINANCIAL LITERACY As a financial institution, PFCU recognizes the transformative power of education. The Foundation awards grants supporting educational scholarships, skilled trades, and youth and adult service organizations that encourage lifelong financial literacy. These efforts equip individuals with the tools to make informed decisions, strengthening families and local economies.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS The Foundation champions initiatives that promote physical fitness, mental health awareness, and overall well-being. Grant funding supports outdoor recreation, and social service programs, directly enhancing the quality of life in our communities.

THE ARTS By supporting community theaters, libraries, museums, and other cultural organizations, the Foundation nurtures creativity and vibrant community life. Investment in the arts fosters cultural enrichment and provides opportunities for personal and collective expression.

AGRICULTURE Recognizing the importance of rural development, the Foundation supports efforts that expand access to—and foster greater understanding of—agriculture-based opportunities and resources. Efforts such as farmers markets, community gardens, county 4-H programs, and hunger outreach initiatives ensure food security and sustainable growth for rural populations.

“We are thrilled to announce the 2026 round of grants, which continue to support projects and initiatives that make a meaningful impact in our communities,” said Michele Makley, PFCU Foundation President. “These grants will empower organizations that have already made a significant difference to expand their efforts even further and help even more people and initiatives in the community.”
