Obituary for Vickie L. Huhn

Vickie L. Huhn of Portland passed away on June 29, 2026, at age 73. A generous person, she was a life member and former president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Vickie was obsessed with shoes and perfume, and she especially enjoyed playing the lottery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marlys Proctor; her brother, Fred Proctor Jr.; and her infant son, Steven Fandel.

Vickie was especially proud of her family. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth; her children, Stacy (Jon) Carl, Craig Fandel, Geoffrey Huhn, Kenneth (Wendy Magee) Huhn Jr., Becky (Vern) Vasquez, and Scott (Brittney) Huhn; her grandchildren, Kaleb (Malyann) Carl, Kollin (Kaitlin) Carl, Kheri (Joshua) Malek, Khyle Huhn, Kelsey Mendoza, Olivia Huhn, Lauryn Huhn, Maquire (Kyleigh) Huhn, Mason Huhn, Maya Huhn, Gavin Huhn, Landon Huhn, Triston Huhn, and Rylan Huhn; her brother, Greg Proctor; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Proctor, Marleah (Jim) Quimby, and Sharon Goodman; her brother-in-law, Robert Huhn; her nephews, Eric, Tyler, and Josh Proctor; five great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Portland VFW Post #4090. Memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice in Vickie’s name.
