Obituary for Terry Wayne Johnson, Sr.

Terry W. “Farmer” Johnson, Sr., age 83, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was born on February 10, 1938, the son of Fillmore and Marjorie Johnson. Terry loved John Deere collectibles, watching western movies, professional bull riding, rodeos, polka music, eating polish dogs, sauerkraut and shrimp. Terry loved his cats, his solar lights in the front yard and tinkering in his garage. He was preceded in death by his parents; several siblings; and an infant son, Jerry Johnson. Surviving are his children, Terry Johnson, Jr. and Camilla DeVoll; grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Poelman, Kayla (Josh) Sanford, Kimberly Johnson, Glenn (Vanessa) Fox, Michael Cook, Victoria Bartlett, and Stephanie Bartlett; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Rayne Showers; and brother, Celon Johnson. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will follow at Danby Cemetery.
