Obituary for Sharyl Ann (Dibean) Walling
Sharyl Ann (Dibean) Walling, passed October 9th at Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, after a year-long struggle with liver cancer. She was born on May 13, 1944 and was raised on the family farm on Mt. Hope Hwy., between Creyts and Canal in Grand Ledge. Her passions included sitting in the sun, being at the beach, putting together puzzles, playing bingo and travelling. Although she was a private person, she loved to be social with those she let into her life. Her passing will be felt by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Delorse Dibean, her loving husband, Ronald Walling and her sister, Judy Sawyer. She is survived by her three children: Jackie (Charlie May) Franke, Jon (Suzanne Kuhn-Soper) Franke and Russell (Kathy) Franke, grandchildren, Josh and Abby (Shane Chandler) Franke and Brad and Lyndsi Teachout. Also surviving are her brothers, Jack, Richard and Robert Dibean, sister, Dorothy (Jim) Pfister and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Liver Foundation in memory of Sharyl. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
