Sharon Elizabeth Robson (Webert)


Sharon Robson, 80, of Portland passed away surrounded by her family in her home on September 20th, 2023. Sharon was born in Portland, MI on December 2nd 1942. She is the daughter of Dean and DeRua (Pline) Webert. She retired as a mammographer from St. Lawrence after many years of service. She was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.


Sharon loved flowers of all kinds, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to the casino, sewing, crafting, making rugs, playing marbles, cards and “game night” with her grandkids. She also enjoyed an occasional bowl of ice cream.


Sharon is preceded in death by her husband Burton Robson, her parents Dean and DeRua Webert, her in-laws Byron and Arlene Robson, brother Tom Webert, brother in law Robert Trimmer, sister in law Besty Robson, brothers in law, Richard Hanna, Lance Clark, and grandchildren Chad and Ashley Schneider.


She is survived by her children, Tim (Julie) Robson, Michele (Kirk) Hoppes, Melanie (Russ) Schneider, Stephanie (Bill) Schneider, Byron (Missy) Robson, and Sarah (Jason) Haigh. Also her siblings Carol (Jim) Wilcox, David (Melanee) Webert, and Janice Trimmer, in laws Shirley Hanna, Mary Clark, and George (Cynthia) Robson. Grandchildren Lily (Scott) Hershberger, Wendy (Eric) Jarvis, Mitchel (Surena) Hoppes, Whitney and Jarrett Hoppes, Jessica (Tony) Thelen, Derek and Tyler Schneider, Casey (Aaron) Zimmer, Billy and Tommy Schneider, Cody (Crystal) Robson, Samantha (Kurtis) Deuel, Alyson and Carly Robson, Carson and Mallory Haigh. Great grandchildren Liam Jarvis, Hayden, Maddie and Catelyn Hershberger, TayLynn Schneider, Crue, Lennox, William and Oakleigh Zimmer, Cooper, Weston, Hudson, Maddison and Kane Robson, Owen Deuel, several nieces and nephews, special friends Sandy Meitler and Pat McGregor and the many friends she made over the years.


The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 2:30 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
