With his loving family keeping vigil by his side, Robert “Bob” Elvert Mosser of Portland passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 peacefully slipping away to be with his Lord at the venerable age of 82 following his battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Born in Portland on October 25, 1943, Bob was the second son of Elvert and Esther (Hile) Mosser. Growing up in the idyllic farming community, Bob was involved in FFA, cultivating a lifelong appreciation for hard work. Following graduation, Bob worked as a stage hand for a theater production where a fortuitous introduction was made: setting eyes on Rose Densmore, Bob was besotted and she became the singular love of his life. Married on January 30, 1965 at St. Patrick Church, Bob and Rose spent 61 years together building a beautiful family in Portland. A devout Catholic, his example instilled a deep love of Christ in his children and grandchildren as a man of faith.
A dedicated and loyal worker, Bob devoted over 38 years of service to TRW, providing for his and Rose’s burgeoning family that grew to 5 children. In his retirement, Bob loved to travel, setting off with his Rose around the United States in their RV where they shared a new lifetime of memories and joy together. Bob and Rose shared their love of camping and the outdoors with friends and family. Among his favorite times were the annual trip to Ludington with his kids and grandkids, or their yearly stay in Gulf Shores, Alabama with friends every February. He also loved getting out on the golf course despite those pesky sand traps and water hazards which always seemed to be in the way.
A supportive and dedicated Grandpa, Bob could be found cheering on from the sidelines at all the games, activities, and graduations his grandkids were a part of. Despite not knowing the rules or even the final score during his decline, it never stopped him from going and just being there for his family, simple love and pride emanating from his face. He was also a dedicated and faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers, win or lose, following the team every year. And if there was a Michigan State game to be found, no matter the sport, Bob was cheering the Spartans on.
Bob was a kind and selfless husband and father who would help with whatever task someone had for him. Aiden, his grandson, would tell you that Grandpa would do anything that Grandma asked him to do, like “get the potatoes or get the tomatoes”. Bob was quite simply a solid family man through and through, evident in his engagement as a young husband and father through to his aging years as a grandpa and pillar of the family. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Elvert and Esther; father and mother-in-law, George and Aileen Densmore; sister-in-law, Barb Densmore; and brother-in-law, LaVern Densmore.
Left to carry on his legacy are his beloved bride, Rose; children: Dennis (Beth) Mosser, Craig Mosser, Tammy (Rick) Bengel, Andy (Nikki) Mosser, and Nicole (Jack) Hoedeman; grandchildren: Danielle Mosser, Morgan (Amy) Cutlip, Addison (JT) Watkins, Emily (Walker) Willis, Taylor Mosser, Lauren (Basil) Beers, Chloe Hoedeman, Riley Mosser, Aiden Mosser, Liam Mosser, Rebekah Hoedeman, and Isaac Hoedeman; great-grandchildren: Wyatt Beers and Avery Watkins; brother and sister-in-Law: Herb and Jan Mosser; sisters and brothers-in-law: Delores & Ron Frazee, and Leon Densmore; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will greet mourners from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Lehman Funeral Home in Portland with a rosary being prayed at 1:30 p.m.

One challenge I often faced was understanding how to properly structure campaigns for audiences with different expectations. I used to apply the same framework everywhere, which didn’t always work. After reading through Rhillane Marketing Agency UAE, I started to see how important it is to adapt both content and strategy to the market. This pushed me to rethink my approach and pay closer attention to how users interact with content in different regions. It also made me more aware of the importance of context in digital marketing. Since making these adjustments, I’ve noticed a clearer improvement in how campaigns perform across different audiences.
