Michael William Gross, age 86, of Eagle, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1939 the son of Frank and Elsie (Noffsinger) Gross. Mike was a member of St. Patrick Church. He was an avid Tigers fan, enjoyed playing cards, camping, Facebook and cherished time spent at the family deer camp. Mike worked at General Motors and retired after 32 dedicated years, he also worked for Tom Rademacher at his farm and eventually helped his son, Dean. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wallace (Jean) Gross, Walter (Gloria) Gross; sisters, Bernice (Richard) Miler, Marie Edwards and Mary Lou Barnhart; in-laws, Jack Jackard, Paul Pung, Richard (Judy) Pung, Jr., Peter Pung, Roger Pung and Donald Schafer. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Mary Theresa; children, Michelle (Dave) Bowen, Melissa (Mark) Hill, Brian (Cinzia) Gross, Sharon (Mark) Rademacher and Dean (Ann) Gross; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Joan (Julio) Almanza and Irene Jackard; in-laws, Pauline Schafer, Helen (LaVern) Carr, Dennis (Julie) Pung and Connie Pung; many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2025, by Rev. Logan Webber at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland. Rite of Committal will follow at North Eagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Lehman Funeral Home, 210 W. Bridge St., Portland on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will also take place at St. Patrick Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass on Friday.
