Obituary for Lucinda Lou (Bierstetel) Hobner

Lucina Lou Hobner, age 76, of Portland, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born in Lansing on May 17, 1945, the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Brown) Bierstetel. Lucinda made many friends over the years while delivering the Lansing State Journal and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, James Hobner. Lucinda is survived by her sons, Buddy Hobner and Mike Hobner; grandchildren, Matthew Hobner, Justin (Victoria) Hobner, and Shelby (Matthew) Zinn; great-grandchildren, Matthew Hobner and Phoenix, Jasper, and Kelton Zinn; sister, Lola Martin; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
