Obituary for Larry E. Brazee

Larry E. Brazee, 81, of Grand Ledge, formerly of Portland, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. He was born July 13, 1940 in Lansing, the son of Eugene and Dorothy (Below) Brazee. Larry was a graduate of Sexton High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from General Motors after many years of service. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed line dancing while spending time in Florida for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia; brother, Gerald Brazee and sister-in-law, Ruth Brazee. Surviving are his children, Sheryl Brazee of Lansing and Scott (Buffi Conroe) Brazee of Grand Ledge; grandchildren, Zoe Brazee and Logan Bazee; brother, Fred (Lora Mae) Brazee; sister-in-law, Nancy Brazee; and several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
