Obituary for Kellie Sherrae (Payne) Curns

Kellie Sherrae Curns, age 57, of Woodland, passed away at her home on December 6, 2021. She was born on February 28, 1964 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Gale and Carol (Wells) Payne. Kellie enjoyed camping, NASCAR, and following University of Michigan sports. She loved her dogs and having them around the house.

Preceding Kellie in death are her parents; father-in-law, Bill Curns; and brother, Dan Eldridge. Surviving are her loving husband of 21 years, Phil Curns; brother, Colt (Carla) Payne; sister, Shonda (John) Swanson; mother-in-law, Joyce Curns; in-laws, Steve (Teresa) Curns and Gordy (Patty) Curns; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service honoring Kellie will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. A luncheon at the Portland VFW Post #4090 will immediately follow the service.
