Obituary for Connie Rae (Thompson) Landon
Connie (Thompson) Landon, of Sunfield, passed away peacefully January 19, 2022 at the age of 64 surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing from complications due to Covid-19.
Connie was born March 27, 1957 to Raymond and Leta (Eastman) Thompson.
Connie loved her family. Even through life struggles she made sure everyone came first. She had a huge love for music and singing karaoke, having summer fires with her family around sharing love and laughter. But most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so very much. She was so excited to be expecting a new great grandchild who is due to arrive in February. Connie had such a heart of gold.
Connie is survived by her mother Leta Thompson of Sunfield, brother, Raymond (Janette) Thompson of Sunfield, sisters, MaryJo (John) Antcliff of Lake City and Darlene Kill of Lake City, children, Rebecca (John) Dennings of Sunfield, Stephanie (Larry) Williams of Lyons, grandchildren, Jeremy (Donna) Thomason, Kelsey (Cole) Hoffman, Alexis (Dylan) Holcomb, Chandler (Sami) Holcomb, William Dennings and Joseph Williams, great-grandchildren, Braxton, Leta, John, Brailee, Payton, Uriah, Kimmy and Harold, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her son, Steven Royal Thomason, father, Raymond Van Thompson, husband, Dennis Landon, sister, Charel VanDeventer and brother, Michael Thompson.
