Lilly Thelen hits 1,000-point mark for PHS Basketball

Portland High School senior guard Lilly Thelen recently crossed the 1,000-career point mark. 

Coach Jason Haid said, “Surpassing 1000 points reflects her incredible work ethic and dedication. She has improved every season. Lilly can also impact the game in many ways beyond scoring and doing whatever her team needs to win. This achievement is a result of her commitment, consistency, and growth throughout her career.”

Back in November, Thelen signed to continue her basketball career at Lake Superior State University next year.

According to MHSAA.com, the Raiders are now 10-3 overall, and 8-0 in the CAAC White putting them in first place currently.
