Lady Shamrocks go 3-0 on the week

On Monday, the St. Patrick's Varsity Girls basketball team headed to Battle Creek Saint Phillip for a single game matchup. They took the victory against the Tigers, 70-43. The team had great ball movement, excellent shot selection, and worked well to push the ball offensively. Macie Smith shot with precision and led the Shamrocks with a Career High 26 points, 6 rebounds, as well as several defensive tie ups. Lily Sandborn followed and tied her career high of 17 points and had 4 rebounds. Gracelyn Rockey chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Addi Dzwik led the Tigers with 28 points.
The Shamrocks headed to Perry Wednesday for another CMAC road trip matchup. They took the victory against the Ramblers, 48-22. The Lady Shamrocks jumped to an early lead and kept the momentum moving. Each member of the Varsity team contributed offensively in the scoring column and worked equally hard defensively. Gracelyn Rockey led scoring with 13 points and added 6 steals, Macie Leonard had 10 points, Lily Sandborn scored 8 and Macie Smith added 5.
The St. Patrick's Varsity Girls hosted Tri-Unity Wyoming Christian on Thursday. The Shamrocks took the win, 38-32. The fast-paced game offered a good challenge for the Shamrocks as we enter the last portion of the regular season. The team was composed in the fourth quarter and controlled the tempo for quality offensive sets. Gracelyn Rockey led the way with a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 steals. Macie Leonard scored 10 points, and Lily Sandborn had 8 points with excellent on ball defense. Marian Davlin brought down 6 rebounds and was solid in the lane defensively.
I. Mojika led TUWC with 11 points.
The Shamrocks are now 14-3 overall and 10-3 in the CMAC. They host Bath for a make-up game on Monday, with a 5:30 JV start.
