On Wednesday, the St. Patrick's Girls basketball teams traveled to Laingsburg and took a tough loss, 33-21. The team’s defensive effort against the Wolfpack was executed well, and the game plan was well developed. Marian Davlin held down the lane and had 4 big rebounds. Morgan Krieger and Lily Sandborn had great on-ball defense and communication. The Shamrocks uncharacteristically struggled to find their rhythm offensively and had scoring from Gracelyn Rockey with 12 points and 6 rebounds, Macie Smith with 7 points and 5 rebounds, and Lily Sandborn adding 2 points and 2 steals.
B. Holms and L Morill each led with 10 points for Laingsburg.
On Friday, the St. Patrick's Girls basketball teams traveled to PW and took a loss to a talented Pirates team, 29-45.
