Lady Raiders top St. Johns

On Tuesday, the PHS girls basketball squad travel to St. Johns to face the Red Wings.

The Lady Raiders took an early lead and led the Red Wings for the entire game, securing a 51-25 victory.

Portland was led offensively by seniors Ashley Bower and Ava Guilford who each scored 12 points. Seniors Alivia Densmore and Breckyn Werner added eight and seven points respectively.

The Lady Raiders move to 5-0 overall, 2-0 in the CAAC White. On Saturday they are scheduled to travel to Cornerstone University to face Forest Hills Central in the West Michigan Shootout. The Rangers of Forest Hills Central are currently 4-1 on the season.
