PHS Wrestling Tean Named MWA Academic All-State Team

The Portland High School wrestling team earned Academic All-State Team honors on Friday, placing 4th in Division 3 with a team grade point average of 3.49.

Portland seniors Jared Thelen and Marty Thelen were also named to the individual Academic All-State Team.

The Academic All-State honorees were announced by the Michigan Wrestling Association.
