PCFA Burger Night Tonight 5:00-8:00

It is a Friday night. TGIF! After a long hard week, you deserve to take a break from the kitchen, and go out to eat. Tonight, you can do just that, and support a wonderful organization right here in our community at the same time.

The Portland Community Fund Association (PCFA) is hosting a burger night fundraiser at the VFW tonight from 5:00-8:00. For $9, you get a delicious burger, fries, water, and a dessert.

According to the PCFA website, www.portlandcommunityfund.org, “Part of the mission of the Portland Community Fund is to provide grants to nonprofit organizations that serve those who live in the Portland School District. This funding allows these exceptional groups to continue providing much needed support to our neighbors.”

During their 2017 - 2018 funding cycle, the Portland Community Fund allocated money to the following organizations: Beacon of Hope Boy Scout Troop 129 Enrich Epic A Community Church First Congregational Church Ionia County Great Start Ionia County Hospice Mount Hope Church Portland Area Service Group Portland Area Ministerial Association Portland Civic Players Portland Community Orchestra Portland Food Bank Portland Tackle Football Association, Inc. Portland Wrestling Club RAVE Victim Advocates
