September 20, 2018

Portland Boys Varsity Soccer continued league play yesterday away at Eaton Rapids.  Play was intense from the very start.

Anthony Kreiner made an amazing save in the net on a penalty kick to keep the game tied 0-0 for the Raiders early in the game.  Eaton Rapids was able to score first but after that the Raiders toke control of the game and started their own scoring drive.  Portland's lead extended to 4-1 by the end of the first half.  However, the intensity didn't stop there as the boys were able to put in another goal in the opening minute of the second half.  The boys continued to press in the second half and the final score was 8-3 for the Raiders.

Tate Dziewiatkowski had three goals, Florian Klindt had two goals, Noah Pung, Cameron Roof and Hayden Getchell all had one goal for the Raiders.

Boys Soccer will continue league play Thursday home against Charlotte at 5:00 pm.  The Raiders now move to 11-0 on the season and 2-0 in the CAAC White.
