Saturday, July 14th, is the last day to register your child for Junior Raider football and cheer for 2018 at the regular price. Registrations received after the 14th will incur an additional $25 late fee.
Junior Raiders offers tackle football and cheerleading programs for 4th through 8th graders who reside within the Portland school district. The regular registration price is $100 per child and includes all necessary equipment and uniforms. A multi child discount is available. If you child is planning on participating in Junior Raiders in 2018, don’t forget to schedule his or her sports physical if you have not done so already. Your child will not be able to start their mandatory conditioning on August 6th without a physical.
The PHS varsity football coaching staff is offering a football camp at PHS July 24th through 26th. This camp cost $20 and is for 4th through 12th graders. The cost includes a t-shirt and pizza on the last day of camp. The brochure and registration form for that camp can be found at http://portlandjrraiders.net/ under the forms tab.

Junior Raiders and the PHS football program are teaming up again this year for a charity golf outing benefiting both programs. The outing will occur at Willow Wood Golf Club on Saturday August 4th with a 2:30 shotgun start. The cost is $60 per golfer and includes 18-holes of golf, cart, t-shirt, hot dog lunch and a hog roast dinner.
