The Portland Area Historical Society invites you to join us on Tuesday, June 26 at 6:30 pm at 144 Kent Street for another educational and informative program:

The Michigan State Capitol-Construction, Evolution, Restoration and Renewal

Travel through nearly 150 years of Capitol history in one evening and see the Capitol building as it was, has been, and is today with this interesting program presented by Valerie Marvin; Historian and Curator of the Michigan State Capitol.

The Portland Area Historical Society is a 501C(3) not for profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the area's history and heritage. Our monthly educational programs are open to the public at no charge. Donations and new members are always welcome.
