Four Raider Bowlers Advance to Individual States

Portland’s Luke Dalman took first place at regionals on Saturday averaging a 201 over six games. Luke Dalman’s scores on the day were 177, 199, 182, 178, and 223 for a total of 1,205. Jack Dalman, Ashley Zinn and Jordan Fyan also qualified for individual states. Jack Dalman took fourth with scores of 183, 221, 181, 209, 163 and 208 for a total of 1,165. Zinn finished 6th with 200, 187, 173, 154, 165 and 160 for a 1,039. Fyan finished 8th with 127, 164, 217, 178, 181 and 137 for a 1,004.

Portland Coach William Armour III said, “Until the last game, Portland had a shot at four boys and four girls making it into state finals. A great job was done by all. Those that didn’t make it will have an opportunity next year and we look forward to that.”

The individual states for division three will take place March 2nd and 3rd in Muskegon at Northway Lanes.
