St. Patrick Boys Over Ashley at the Buzzer

Saint Patrick  5   25   15   15 = 60 Ashley             15   11   16   15 = 57 Saint Patrick won a back and forth battle at the buzzer on a three pointer by Graham Wohlscheid. Trailing by two with 25 seconds, Wohlscheid tied the score on a fast break layup and then on a tap steal by Nate Leahy to Will Simon the Shamrocks were able to set up the last second heroics with 6.9 seconds to go. The Shamrocks were able to go the length of the court and Will Simon found Wohlscheid in the left baseline corner with a 3/4 length pass and the ball went through as the buzzer sounded. Wohlscheid led the Shamrocks with 22 points and 5 rebounds, Brandon Scheurer had 20 points, 4 assists and 3 steals, Nate Leahy added 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. Will Simon added 4 assists and Nathan Lehnert led the Shamrocks in rebounding with 6. The Shamrocks play at Morrice Thursday.
