Thomas “Tom” Werner, 81, of Monticello, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Monticello. He was born on July 16, 1944 in Lyons, MI to Fredrick E. and Virginia (Bushong) Werner. On August 24, 1963 he married Carol Green in Portland MI. She survives. He was a graduate of Portland, MI. He worked at Lindell Drop Forge in Lansing, MI before moving to Monticello in 1992 to work for Omni Forge in Remington from which he retired in 2007. Tom was the union president of Local #7
