Update: First aid kits to Ukraine
Not too long ago, we told you about a local group leading effort to provide first aid kits for Ukraine. You can find that full article HERE.
On Monday, the group finished sewing their 200th first aid kit. These wonderful women sewed for hours to meet their goal.
Char Blundy told the Beacon, “We‘re still only half way there. We want to fill them with band aids, gauze, adhesive tape, antibiotic cream, burn cream, scissors Q-tips, disposable gloves, Tylenol and a small sewing kit. We would appreciate any donations to help buy these supplies.”
The group has set up a GoFundMe to raise funds at https://gofund.me/d6fd978f.
Even a small donation could help the group reach their fundraising goal.
If you have any questions, you can contact Char Blundy at cblundy1248@att.net. Please write “first aid kits” in subject area.
