State Tournament results for PHS Bowling

On Friday March 1st 2024 the boys bowling team competed at States. The boys team started out great and after 8 baker games were in 6th place. They boys then bowled a 1057 which is the highest game we have on record for Portland Bowling. This took them up to first place. They finished qualifying in 4th place and struggled in match play in the first round and finished in 5th place. This tied for the best finish in program history.

We had 2 bowlers compete in the singles portion of States. Dre Cross finished in 30th place and Zack McAllsiter finished in 51st place.
