St. Patrick Track State Finals Recap

Wrapping up the season at the Division 4 Track and Field State Finals on June 4, the Lady Shamrocks found themselves on the podium several times. A visit by Father Mike and support from Principal Randy Hodge throughout the day helped to motivate the girls to run their best!! Highlighting the meet were 10 All-State Honors, a season best time for the 4x400 team of Cozette Brown, Kenzie Fedewa, Sophie Schrauben & Izzy Kissane, a season best time for the 4x200 team of Tessa Lawson, Sophie Schrauben, Kenzie Fedewa & Izzy Kissane, and a huge personal best by Sophie Schrauben in the 300 hurdles.

All-State Honorees:

4x400 (4th place) - Cozette Brown, Kenzie Fedewa, Sophie Schrauben & Izzy Kissane

300 hurdles (6th place) - Sophie Schrauben

400 (6th place) - Kenzie Fedewa

4x200 (8th place) - Tessa Lawson, Sophie Schrauben, Kenzie Fedewa & Izzy Kissane

All of the All-State Honorees will also be named Academic All-State in each of their events above.

Also finishing among the best in the State were Izzy Kissane in the 400 (10th place), only 0.04 seconds out of 8th place, and the 4x800 relay team (13th place) of Olivia Pung, Cozette Brown, Izzy Kissane & Kenzie Fedewa.
