Combined they held Fowler to two hits. Leonard, TJ Chamberlain and Hudson King each had two hits for the Shamrocks.
After districts, Shamrock Head Coach Bryan Scheurer told the Beacon, "The boys came ready to play today. We made it hard to score and the depth of our lineup was on display, 6-9 in our order had 6 of our 9 hits vs a good Fowler staff in the final. We are looking forward to practicing next week and toward our next opportunity to compete on Wednesday."
The Shamrocks advance to the regional round where they will face Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central on Wednesday, June 3rd, at Fowler. The winner of that game advances to the Regional Final/QF next Saturday at CMU. St. Patrick is now 29-2 on the season.
