Shamrock mens Basketball ready to win District title

After a long football season, and a longer wait to play basketball, the men of Portland St. Patrick are ready to play some ball. Second year coach Brett Pettit, after a tough first season, is ready for his program to have greater success and have a very exciting season. `Obviously, this is going to be an odd season. It's going to be that way for every team. This year we're going to focus more on ourselves, improving as a team, each game and each week. With crowd limitations and new rules, we want to stay focused on being able to create our own energy and enthusiasm not only for ourselves, but for our teammates." Returning Senior Brice Cook was full of enthusiasm, "We don't have a lot of numbers this year, but we have good height. We hope to build on the positives from football and be more competitive this season."

The team roster includes Seniors- Connor Cross, Chase Fitzsimmons, Evan Schrauben, Brice Cook, Austin Fleischer, and Tristin Huhn. Juniors are Shane Cook, Braxton Teachworth, and Derec Fedewa. JV team Roster includes Sophomores Alex Fedewa, and Freshmen Lucas Simon, Shawn Frawley, Tyler Groothuis, Riley Mosser and Devin Cook.

The prospective schedule is very fluid at this point, but this is the TENTATIVE schedule. The men may also play on Saturdays as well.
