Coach Curtis Meyers had a bunch to say about the tenacity of his players. "I am just really proud of how the guys responded after the slow start. With it being our 4th game in 5 days, I was a little worried about them being worn out and tired. I told them they had to did deep, and that is what they did. I cannot say enough about how they responded in the second half as well, we have been in a lot of close games this year and came up short. It was great to see them pull through and make winning plays at the end. We can definitely take a lot from this game as we move forward."
Offensive leaders were pretty balanced for the Shamrocks with Freshmen Brayden Simon scoring 18 points 8 rebounds and 1 steal. Shane Cook had 10 points 9 rebounds 1 steal and 5 assists, Cole Kinsman had 6 points 7 rebounds and 3 steals, Braxton Teachworth had 4 points 7 rebounds and 1 steal, and Alex Fedewa had 4 points 7 rebounds and 1 steal.
St. Patrick plays this Friday, February 25th away at Lansing Christian.
