Shamrock Baseball sweeps PW

The Portland St. Patrick baseball team traveled to Pewamo-Westphalia on Monday for a CMAC double header. The Shamrocks won both games and improved their record to 10-0.
Game 1: St. Patrick 5, PW 0
Brayden Simon struck out 16 and only gave up two hits pitching the full seven inning game for the Shamrocks.
Six Shamrocks had one hit each in the game, including Jerryd Scheurer (double), Charlie Thelen (double), Brayden Simon, Logan Howe, Tyler Thelen, and Nathan Fears.
Game 2: St. Patrick 5, PW 2
Brady Leonard led the Shamrock offense going two for three. Logan Howe added a double. Charlie Thelen, Brayden Simon, and Nathan Fears also had hits in the game.
Brady Leonard pitched four innings striking out seven. Jerryd Scheurer pitched the final three innings striking out three.

On Thursday, the Shamrocks are due to travel to Bath. The Fighting Bees are currently 3-5 according to MHSAA.com.
