The Shamrocks hosted number 17 ranked Muskegon Catholic Central on Monday.
Game 1: St. Patrick 6, MCC 1
Jerryd Scheurer (double) had two hits and one RBI for the Shamrocks. Logan Howe (double) had two hits and two RBIs.
Brady Leonard got the win on the mound for St. Patrick pitching two innings and striking out two. Tyler Thelen pitched two innings striking out four. Sean Fedewa pitched two innings striking out three. The three pitchers combined held MCC to just three hits.
Game 2: St. Patrick 16, MCC 6
Brady Leonard went three for three with three RBIs to lead the Shamrock offense. Three other Shamrocks had one hit each. Scheurer got the win pitching for St. Patrick. Howe, TJ Chamberlain and Mason Simon each saw time on the mound.
The Shamrocks faced Dansville in Thursday.
Game 1: St. Patrick 5, Dansville 1
Scheurer led the Shamrock offense going three for four. Three other Shamrocks had hits in the game.
Leonard got the complete game win for St. Patrick striking out 11 and only allowing three hits in seven innings.
Game 2: St. Patrick 7, Dansville 0
The Shamrocks tallied seven runs on nine hits in the game. Tyler Thelen (double) and Simon White each had two hits. Howe had a triple for St. Patrick.
Fedewa got the win on the mound striking out nine and allowing just three hits over seven innings.
The Shamrocks are now 26-0 and are ranked number one in the state in Division 4 in the latest Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association poll. The are scheduled to face Sacred Heart Academy and St. Francis on Saturday, and Laingsburg on Monday.
St. Patrick will start action in the 63rd Dean Shippey Capital Classic at MSU on Tuesday, 5/20, where they will face Grand Ledge at 7:00.
