Shamrock Baseball improves to 6-0 with wins over Lansing Christian

The St. Patrick varsity baseball team improved their record to 6-0 on Monday when the picked up two decisive wins over Lansing Christian.

 

Game 1: St. Patrick 15, Lansing Christian 0

 

Brayden Simon got the win on the mound for the Shamrocks picking up eight strikeouts over three innings while only allowing one hit. 

 

Brady Leonard led the Shamrock offense going three for three at the plate with a triple and three RBIs.  Six other Shamrocks had hits in the game. 

 

Game 2: St. Patrick 20, Lansing Christian 2

 

Leonard got the win on the mound in game two striking out five and allowing just one hit in two innings.  Three other pitchers saw action in the game for St. Patrick and the staff held Lansing Christian to just two hits in the game. 

 

Leonard (HR) and Brayden Simon each had three hits for the Shamrocks.  Jerryd Scheurer, Ben White(double) and Isaiah Rockey (triple) each had two hits.  The Shamrock offense had 17 total hits in the game.
