Registration now open for Portland Fire youth softball

Portland Fire registration is now open and will be closing registration March 31st. The program offers youth fastpitch softball opportunities for girls at the 8u through 14u levels.

The league we play out of is the Mason Softball League. There are teams from Leslie to Fowlerville to Hastings and all in between. The league tries to keep teams closer together for travel but you might have to drive to a school that is as far as Fowlerville. Practices will start in April and games will not start until after Memorial Day Weekend. 8U and 10U play single games and 12U and 14U play double headers. Each team will play two nights a week. One home and one away. Your home game will always be the same night of the week while the away games can be any night of the week. 8u is coach pitch and 10u is a combination of player pitch and coach pitch. Anyone that is interested in playing can play Portland Fire. We welcome all skill levels.

Registration fee will be $85 for 14U/12U and $70 for 10U/8U. Please pay by check made payable to Scott Parmalee with "Fire Softball" on the "for" line and mail to 10200 Towner Road, Portland. Please include in a note who's registration the check is paying for. If you are unable to pay with a check you can message me via the Portland Fire Facebook page or call/text Scott Parmalee at (864) 201-2575 to work out another payment method.
