Raider Wrestling picks up three wins at Ionia County Championships

Raider Wrestling traveled to Ionia High School on Wednesday to take on Lakewood, Williamston and Ionia. With a full lineup, the Raider Grapplers handled the competition, finishing the day 3-0 beating Lakewood 63-15, Williamston 54-24 and Ionia 54-24.


This performance moved the team to 7-1 on the season.


Going undefeated for the Raider Grapplers were: Chandler Murton (171/189) with 2 pins and a tech fall, Jackson Weygandt (215/285) with 3 pins, Branson Goodman (215/285) with 3 pins, Connor Gleason (112) with 3 pins, Ethan Webert (119) with 1 pin and 1 forfeit, Drew Miller (130/135) with 2 forfeits, Isaiah Pelc with a decision and a pin, and Trent Trierweiler (145/152) with 3 pins.
